Sanskrit (Devanagari)

उत् त्वा॑ वहन्तु म॒रुत॑ उदवा॒हा उ॑द॒प्रुतः॑ । अ॒जेन॑ कृ॒ण्वन्तः॑ शी॒तं व॒र्षेणो॑क्षन्तु॒ बालिति॑

IAST Transliteration

út tvā vahantu marúta udavāhā́ udaprútaḥ | ajéna kṛṇvántaḥ śītáṃ varṣéṇókṣantu bāl íti ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Up let the Maruts bear thee—upbearing, up-springing; with the goat making coolness, with rain let them sprinkle thee—so be it.

Translation

إلى العُلا فَلْتَحْمِلْكَ الماروتُ—رافعةً إلى فوق، دافعةً إلى فوق؛ وبِالتَّيْسِ (أَجَا) يُحْدِثونَ البَرْدَ، وبِالمَطَرِ فَلْيَرُشُّوكَ—هكذا ليكن.
