Sukta 2
सोम एकेभ्यः पवते घृतमेक उपासते । येभ्यो मधु प्रधावति तांश्चिदेवापि गच्छतात्
sóma ékebhyaḥ pavate ghṛtám éka upā́sate | yébhyo mádhu pradhā́vati tā́ṁś cid evā́pi gacchatāt ||
For some the Soma clarifies itself; some worship ghee. To whom the sweet mead runneth forth—unto those, even unto them also, may he go.
لِبَعْضِهِمْ يَتَصَفّى السُّوما لِنَفْسِهِ، وَبَعْضُهُمْ يَتَعَبَّدُونَ لِلسَّمْنِ المُقَدَّسِ (غْرِتَا). وَالَّذِينَ يَجْرِي إِلَيْهِمُ العَسَلُ الحُلْوُ مُنْدَفِعًا—إِلَيْهِمْ أَيْضًا، نَعَمْ إِلَيْهِمْ، فَلْيَذْهَبْ.
