Sukta 2
शिवा नारीयमस्तमागन्निमं धाता लोकमस्यै दिदेश । तामर्यमा भगो अश्विनोभा प्रजापतिः प्रजया वर्धयन्तु
śivā́ nā́rīyám astám ā́gann imáṃ dhā́tā́ lókam asyái didéśa | tā́m aryamā́ bhágo aśvínobhā́ prajā́patiḥ prajā́yā vardhayantu ||
Auspicious hath this bride come home; for her hath Dhātṛ assigned this ordered sphere. Her may Aryaman and Bhaga, both Aśvins, and Prajāpati increase with progeny.
لقد جاءت هذه العروس إلى بيتها مُيمونةً؛ ولأجلها عيَّن دْهاتْر (Dhātṛ) هذا الحيِّزَ المنظَّم. فليُنمِها أريامان (Aryaman) وبهاگا (Bhaga) والأشفينان (Aśvin) كلاهما، وبراجابتي (Prajāpati) بالذرية.
