bráhmacaryám | brahmacārī́ íṣṇañ carati ródasī ubhé tásmin devā́ḥ sáṃmanaso bhavanti | sá dādhāra pṛthivī́ṃ dívaṃ ca sá ācā́ryaṃ tápasā piparti
Brahmacarya. The Brahmacārin, ardent, goeth his course through both the Worlds; within him the Gods become of one accord. He hath upheld Earth and Heaven; he, by his fervid austerity, sustaineth the Teacher.
Rishi: Atharvanic seer-tradition (Brahmacarya hymn complex, AV 11.5)
Devata: Brahmacarya / Brahmacārin (personified vow and its bearer)
Chandas: Mixed; predominantly Anuṣṭubh-like cadence with expanded pādas (as transmitted in AV prose-marked style here)
