नमस्ते अस्त्वायते नमो अस्तु परायते। नमस्ते प्राण तिष्ठत आसीनायोत ते नमः
námas te astv āyáté námo astu parāyáté | námas te prāṇa tíṣṭhate āsīnā́yóta te námaḥ ||
Homage be unto thee as thou goest forth; homage be unto thee as thou departest. Homage to thee, O Prāṇa, as thou standest; and to thee as thou sittest—yea, homage unto thee.
سلامٌ لك حين تمضي قُدُمًا؛ وسلامٌ لك حين تنصرف. سلامٌ لك، يا «برانا»، حين تقوم؛ ولك حين تجلس—نعم، لك السلام.
