FAQs

A practical Ayurvedic measure is taught: cooling ablution with cold-to-touch water, treated as nectar-like, to counter distress from heat, thirst, and hunger.

Alongside theology and ritual, the text preserves applied health guidance—simple therapeutic procedures (cool bathing for santāpa) that reflect Ayurveda’s preventive and restorative concerns.

Bathing functions as both bodily restoration and purification (śauca), supporting clarity and fitness for dharmic practice by reducing debilitating heat-distress and exhaustion.
