Ayurvedic chikitsā: dietary and medicinal guidance for atīsāra—use of ghee-and-milk cooked preparation with honey and vṛṣa-juice, and consuming aged śāli-rice as a stabilizing diet.
It shows the Agni Purana’s inclusion of practical Ayurveda—specific food-drug combinations and pathya (wholesome diet) for a clinical condition—alongside its ritual, mythic, and dharma materials.
By prescribing non-harmful, sattvic, regulated diet-therapy to restore health, it supports dharmic living: maintaining the body as a fit instrument for worship, duty, and self-discipline.
