हिरण्यवर्णा इति च पाद्यञ्च तिसृभिर्द्विज शन्न आपो ह्य् आचमनमिदमापो ऽभिषेचनं
hiraṇyavarṇā iti ca pādyañca tisṛbhirdvija śanna āpo hy ācamanamidamāpo 'bhiṣecanaṃ
«هيراṇيَفَرْنَا (المياه ذات اللون الذهبي)»—بهذا المانترا تُقدَّمُ ماءُ غسلِ القدمين (pādya). يا ذا الميلادين، وبالآيات الثلاث التي تبتدئ بـ «Śaṃ na āpo…» يُؤدَّى طقسُ الآچَمَنَة (ācamanā) أي ارتشافُ ماءِ التطهير؛ وبـ «Idam āpaḥ…» يُجرى طقسُ الأبهِشِچَنَة (abhiṣecana) أي الرشّ/الاغتسال الطقسي.
