إذا كانت (الكلمة) مستقلة أو تابعةً (لكلمة) أخرى، فإن معناها يُستبان من اقتران العوامل السياقية الخارجية والداخلية؛ وهذا الاستبانة للمعنى تُسمّى «ساماياكي (sāmayikī)»، أي الدلالة الاصطلاحية/العرفية.
