चतुर्विधं स्मृतं साम उपकारानुकीर्तनात् मिथःसम्बन्ह्दकथनं मृदुपूर्वं च भाषणं

caturvidhaṃ smṛtaṃ sāma upakārānukīrtanāt mithaḥsambanhdakathanaṃ mṛdupūrvaṃ ca bhāṣaṇaṃ

يُعلَن أن «السّاما» (المصالحة) أربعةُ أوجه: (1) تذكّرُ النِّعَم والإحسان والثناءُ عليها ممّا أُخِذ أو أُعطي، (2) ذكرُ الأفعال المُعينة النافعة، (3) استحضارُ الروابط والعلاقات المتبادلة، و(4) مخاطبةُ الآخر بكلامٍ لطيفٍ مهذّب.
