قال رودرا: «هذه هي البقعة المقدّسة للإلهة غاورِي؛ إنها حقًّا “غيرُ متروكة”، ولذلك تُذكَر باسم أڤيمُكتا (Avimukta). “وبعطيّة الطعام يُنالُ السَّماء.” وهي التيرثا (tīrtha) الأسمى المسمّاة ڤاناراكا (Vānaraka)، وتُسمّى أيضًا ڤاراناسي (Vārāṇasī). ولمن يقيم هناك ولمن يستمع هناك، تكون الثمرة هاري (Hari). وكلُّ ما يُتلى من جَپا (japa)، وما يُؤدَّى من تَپَس (tapas) من نسك، وما يُعطى من دانا (dāna) في أڤيمُكتا يصير غيرَ قابلٍ للزوال.»
