Related Themes: Agni Purana 299 (Surya/Arka upasana; dhyana; nyasa context); Navagraha-dhyana sections contiguous to 299.15-16
It provides Surya/Arka dhyāna-lakṣaṇa and the ritual use of the vyāhṛtis (bhūḥ-bhuvaḥ-svaḥ) in addressing/placing the solar deity through mantra-recitation and visualization.
Alongside theology, it preserves practical mantra-vidhi and precise iconographic cues (color, posture, attributes), showing the Purana’s coverage of applied ritual technology, not only narratives.
Meditating on Arka with the vyāhṛtis is presented as a purificatory solar upāsanā that strengthens inner luminosity (tejas) and supports merit through disciplined mantra and dhyāna.
