FAQs

Ayurvedic rasāyana knowledge: a rejuvenative regimen using Abhayā (harītakī) with jaggery and ghee, supported by a milk-and-rice diet, aimed at disease-prevention and longevity.

It illustrates the Agni Purana’s inclusion of practical Ayurveda—specific formulations, dietary rules, and promised outcomes—alongside its ritual, dharma, and other śāstric subjects.

As a purāṇic rasāyana, it frames bodily purification and health as supportive of dharma-practice—prolonging life and reducing suffering so one can sustain vows, study, and worship.
