Ayurvedic prakṛti-parīkṣā: identifying a Vāta constitution through dream-pattern (sky-flying) and observable traits like premature greying, irritability, perspiration tendency, and preference for sweet taste.
It demonstrates that the Agni Purana preserves practical medical diagnostics (doṣa-based constitutional assessment) alongside ritual, theology, and other sciences—showing its multi-disciplinary, handbook-like scope.
By promoting self-knowledge and health-preserving conduct through correct constitution assessment, the teaching supports dharmic living—maintaining bodily balance as a foundation for sādhana, duty, and purification.
