Daksha’s Sacrifice and the Origin of Kapalin Rudra (Pulastya–Narada Dialogue)
तथा चन्द्रमसं देवं रोहिण्या सहितं शुचिम् धनानामाधिपत्ये च युक्तवान् हि प्रजापतिः
tathā candramasaṃ devaṃ rohiṇyā sahitaṃ śucim dhanānāmādhipatye ca yuktavān hi prajāpatiḥ
Likewise, Prajāpati appointed the god Candramas (the Moon), pure and accompanied by Rohiṇī, to the lordship over riches (wealth).

Prosperity (dhana) is portrayed as governed, not random—linked to cosmic order and purity (śuci), implying wealth should align with dharma.
Sarga/Pratisarga-adjacent cataloguing: it resembles creation-era ordering where deities receive jurisdictions (adhikāras) within the cosmos.
The Moon with Rohiṇī evokes nourishment, growth, and auspiciousness; placing ‘wealth’ under Soma suggests prosperity waxes/wanes and must be regulated like lunar phases.
