The Slaying of Kumbhakarna
साध्वेनमधिरोहस्तुसर्वतोवानरर्षभाः ।।।।यूथपाश्चयथामुख्यास्तिष्ठन्त्वस ।
sādhv enam adhirohastu sarvato vānararṣabhāḥ | yūthapāś ca yathā mukhyās tiṣṭhantv asya samantataḥ ||
Let the best of the Vanaras mount him from every side, and let the troop-leaders and foremost fighters take their positions all around him.
Let the bulls among Vanaras climb upon him and the foremost of Vanaras and the troops stand all over.
Dharma includes disciplined cooperation: coordinated action and obedience to rightful leadership in defense of the common good.
Lakshmana directs the Vanara fighters to surround and mount the giant opponent (contextually Kumbhakarna) to restrain him.
