Thus, having spoken harsh words to Rāvaṇa, his younger brother Vibhīṣaṇa reached, in a short while, the place where Rāma stood with Lakṣmaṇa.
Vibheeshana, having addressed Ravana in harsh language, reached Rama and Lakshmana in a short while.
Dharma is shown as choosing righteous alignment over blind loyalty: Vibhīṣaṇa, after speaking truthfully (even harshly) to restrain wrongdoing, moves toward the side of righteousness.
After confronting Rāvaṇa with severe words, Vibhīṣaṇa departs and quickly goes to the place where Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa are present.
Moral courage and commitment to satya—Vibhīṣaṇa prioritizes truthful counsel and righteous company over comfort and kinship.
