ity uktvā paruṣaṃ vākyaṃ rāvaṇaṃ rāvaṇānujaḥ |
ājagāma muhūrtena yatra rāmaḥ sa-lakṣmaṇaḥ ||
Having spoken those harsh words to Rāvaṇa, his younger brother (Vibhīṣaṇa) swiftly went, in a moment, to the place where Rāma stood with Lakṣmaṇa.
Vibheeshana, having addressed Ravana in harsh language, reached Rama and Lakshmana in a short while.
Truth-oriented dharma requires timely action; delaying a righteous choice can enable adharma.
The verse narrates Vibhīṣaṇa’s rapid departure from Rāvaṇa and approach to Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa.
Promptness in righteousness (kāla-jñāna): acting at the right time.
