Though my tail was blazing, the fire did not burn me. My heart was filled with joy, and the winds carried a sweet fragrance.
"My tail was burning but I was not burnt by fire. There was joy in my heart. The wind carried sweet fragrance.
Dharma is affirmed as a protective force: when one acts for a righteous mission, obstacles (even fire) are depicted as unable to harm the servant of truth.
After Laṅkā is set ablaze via Hanumān’s burning tail, he reports that he himself was not harmed, and he notes auspicious sensory signs.
Courage grounded in devotion—Hanumān remains steady and joyful even amid danger.
