कुलीनत्वे च रमते दुष्कुलीनान्‌ विकुत्सयन्‌ | धनदर्पेण दृप्तश्न दरिद्रान्‌ परिकुत्सयन्‌

The high-born man revels in his own nobility while scorning those of low birth; and the wealthy, intoxicated with the pride of riches, despise and deride the poor.
