Saṃsāra-gahana-jñāna: Vidura’s Account of Embodiment, Bondage, and Dharmic Release (संसारगहन-ज्ञानम्)

मूर्खानिति परानाह नात्मानं समवेक्षते | दोषान्‌ क्षिपति चान्येषां नात्मानं शास्तुमिच्छति,वह दूसरोंको तो मूर्ख बताता है, पर अपनी ओर कभी नहीं देखता। दूसरोंके दोषोंके लिये उनपर आशक्षेप करता है, परंतु उन्हीं दोषोंसे स्वयंको बचानेके लिये अपने मनको काबूमें नहीं रखना चाहता

He calls others “fools” but never examines himself. He hurls accusations at the faults of others, yet he does not wish to discipline his own mind so as to restrain himself from those very faults.
