Encouraged by her mother-in-law, Draupadī worshiped all of Lord Kṛṣṇa’s wives, including Rukmiṇī; Satyabhāmā; Bhadrā; Jāmbavatī; Kālindī; Mitravindā, the descendant of Śibi; the chaste Nāgnajitī; and the other queens of the Lord who were present. Draupadī honored them all with such gifts as clothing, flower garlands and jewelry.
Because Kṛṣṇa’s queens are His intimate associates; honoring them is proper dharmic etiquette and an expression of devotion and respect for the Lord’s family.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī speaks this verse to King Parīkṣit while narrating Kṛṣṇa’s visit to Indraprastha and the interactions with the royal household.
Practice Vaiṣṇava etiquette by honoring the Lord’s devotees and associates—showing respect, hospitality, and appreciation for those connected to bhakti.
