ananya-cetāḥ satataṁ yo māṁ smarati nityaśaḥ | tasyāhaṁ sulabhaḥ pārtha nitya-yuktasya yoginaḥ || 8.14 ||
O Pārtha, for that ever-united yogin who, with undivided mind, constantly remembers Me always, I am easy to attain.
For the yogin who is ever-joined (to me), who constantly remembers me with undivided mind, I am easy to attain, O Pārtha.
Emphasizes habit-formation: repeated recollection stabilizes identity and reduces inner conflict by aligning attention with a single aim.
Portrays the ultimate reality as ‘attainable’ through sustained devotion/concentration rather than merely intellectual assent.
Generalizes the deathbed instruction into a lifelong practice: constant remembrance prepares the final moment.
Regular contemplative reminders (prayer, mantra, mindful recollection) can cultivate steadiness and purpose.
