By the yoga of meditation (dhyāna-yoga) [the nāḍīs] are cut; the suṣumnā alone is not cut. With the razor—whose edge is purified by yoga and whose brilliance is like fire—the steadfast one should cut a hundred nāḍīs by its power here in this very life, just as sesame-oil is perfumed by contact with jasmine flowers.

Moksha (liberation) through yogic purification of the subtle channels (nāḍī-śuddhi) and ascent via suṣumnāMahavakya: Indirect: supports realization implied by Atharva-veda mahāvākya ‘ayam ātmā brahma’ by prescribing yogic purification conducive to nondual insight.AtharvaChandas: Mixed/irregular (Upaniṣadic yogic verse; not strictly Vedic chandas)
