阿伽斯提耶说:如是赞颂之后,那赐福之主、以迦楼罗为旗帜者,心境澄然安定。怀着慈悲,他以目光之甘露遍洒诸天神,继而对谦恭俯首的众天以柔和甘美之言开示。
Agastya
Tirtha: Ayodhyā-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Audience of the Purāṇic discourse (implied)
Scene: Agastya narrates as Viṣṇu (Garuḍa-bannered) becomes serene; a luminous, cool ‘nectar’ radiance streams from His eyes onto bowed devas; then the Lord raises a hand in assurance and begins to speak.
Humble praise and reverence invite divine grace; the Lord’s compassionate glance itself becomes a form of blessing.
Ayodhyā is the narrative setting in this Adhyāya, introduced as the place where the Lord’s purpose will unfold.
No specific rite is prescribed here; the verse highlights stuti (praise) and praśraya (humble reverence) as devotional acts.
