随后,亲爱的,那林伽又为月神所得,遂名“月自在”(Candreśvara)。它能摧灭从梵杀罪(brahmahatyā)等起的一切罪业,并增长福德功德。
Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Candreśvara-liṅga (Prabhāsa-kṣetra)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī (Pārvatī)
Scene: The Moon-god (Candra), wan and penitent, receives or ‘obtains’ the liṅga; as he worships, his radiance returns, and the liṅga is hailed as Candreśvara, destroyer of brahmahatyā and other sins.
Śiva’s presence at a tīrtha provides profound purification—even for the gravest transgressions—when approached with reverence.
Candreśvara liṅga in Prabhāsakṣetra.
No explicit rite is stated; the verse highlights prāyaścitta-like फल (benefit): destruction of major sins and growth of puṇya.
