विष्णुरुवाच । रुद्रतेजःप्रसूतोसि पवित्रोऽसि महामते । अनेन प्रार्थितः पूर्वं यज्ञार्थं च पुनः पुनः
viṣṇuruvāca | rudratejaḥprasūtosi pavitro'si mahāmate | anena prārthitaḥ pūrvaṃ yajñārthaṃ ca punaḥ punaḥ
毗湿奴说道:“你由鲁陀罗炽烈的神威而生;你是清净者,噢大心之士。往昔亦然,他曾为祭祀之事一再恳请于你。”
Viṣṇu
Tirtha: Kedāra (Kedāranātha)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Viṣṇu addresses Vīrabhadra: born of Rudra’s fiery splendor, pure and great-minded; recalls that earlier too he was repeatedly requested for the sacrifice’s purpose—tying present conflict to past ritual history.
Even fierce divine power (Rudra-tejas) is inherently pure and ultimately serves dharma when aligned with the cosmic order.
Within Kedārakhaṇḍa, the broader frame is Kedāra sacred geography, though this verse itself focuses on the Dakṣa-yajña narrative rather than naming a specific tīrtha.
No direct prescription is given; the verse references yajña (sacrificial rite) as the narrative context.
