It teaches that spiritual and worldly undertakings bear fruit when performed in the right order and without impediments; worship of Vighneśa is a dharmic preparation that harmonizes intention, method, and grace so the act becomes truly “sāṅga” (complete).
In Saguna Shiva worship, procedures and “aṅgas” (subsidiary rites) support focused devotion; beginning with Vighneśa removes practical and inner distractions so the devotee can perform Linga-pūjā steadily, with one-pointed bhakti.
Start any Shiva-pūjā or japa by offering a brief Vighneśa-pūjā (or a Vighneśa mantra/namaskāra) as the opening rite, then proceed to the main practice such as Panchākṣarī japa ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya") with steadiness.
