तस्मादस्य वशीकर्ता नास्तीति स शिवः स्मृतः । यथा सर्वमृगाणां च हिंसको मृगहिंसकः

Transliteration

tasmādasya vaśīkartā nāstīti sa śivaḥ smṛtaḥ | yathā sarvamṛgāṇāṃ ca hiṃsako mṛgahiṃsakaḥ

Translation

因此，因无人能降伏或制御祂，祂被忆念为“湿婆”（Śiva）。正如群兽之中，能杀诸兽者被称为“兽之杀者”（狮子），同样，祂是无与伦比、无人能胜的至上者。
