शिवाग्निरिति संप्रोक्तस्तेन दग्धं शिवाग्निजम् । कपिलागोमयं पूर्वं केवलं गव्यमेव वा

Transliteration

śivāgniriti saṃproktastena dagdhaṃ śivāgnijam | kapilāgomayaṃ pūrvaṃ kevalaṃ gavyameva vā

Translation

此火被宣说为“湿婆之火”；凡被湿婆之火焚烧者，皆成 bhasma——由湿婆之火所生的圣灰。起初，应焚烧一头 kapilā（黄褐色）母牛之牛粪；或择其一，仅用纯净牛粪亦可。
