礼拜彼湿婆林伽,真知便自然而然增长。无论林伽以金银铸成,或仅在地上塑作朴素的土质圣标,其供奉之果皆具灵性功德。
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Significance: General teaching: liṅga-pūjā—regardless of material—nourishes jñāna; emphasizes accessibility of Śiva’s grace beyond elite resources.
Role: teaching
Offering: pushpa
It teaches that Liṅga-pūjā is not merely ritualistic; it naturally ripens the devotee’s jñāna (right knowledge) by Śiva’s grace, aligning the soul (paśu) toward liberation under the Lord (Pati).
The Liṅga is a Saguna support for worship that leads inward to the realization of Śiva’s higher truth; the verse emphasizes that the inner devotion matters more than the material—gold, silver, or simple earth can all serve as valid supports.
Perform simple Liṅga worship with sincerity—offering water, bilva leaves, and repeating the Pañcākṣarī ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya"); even an earthen Liṅga made on clean ground is affirmed as a valid practice, especially for vrata days like Mahāśivarātri.
