नरकयातनावर्णनम् / Description of Hell-Torments for Specific Transgressions
सर्वेन्द्रियाणामप्येवं क्रमात्पापेन यातनाः । भवंति घोराः प्रत्येकं शरीरेण कृतेन च
sarvendriyāṇāmapyevaṃ kramātpāpena yātanāḥ | bhavaṃti ghorāḥ pratyekaṃ śarīreṇa kṛtena ca
如是,对一切诸根依次而论,由罪业所生之刑罚便会现起——各各皆成可怖——皆随此身所造之业而定。

Shiva Form: Paśupatinātha
It teaches that bondage (pāśa) is reinforced by sense-driven sin, and that karmic consequences manifest specifically according to how each sense and the body were used—urging discipline, repentance, and turning toward Shiva as Pati, the Liberator.
Linga-worship centers the mind and senses on Shiva, redirecting sensory outwardness into devotion; by offering actions, speech, and perception to Saguna Shiva, the devotee weakens karmic bonds created through bodily conduct.
Sense-restraint with daily Panchakshara japa ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya"), along with Shiva-puja (including bhasma/tripundra if practiced in one’s tradition) as a practical means to purify actions done through the body.
