भैरवावतारवर्णनम् (Bhairavāvatāra-varṇanam) — “Description of the Descent/Manifestation of Bhairava”
स कोपतस्समुत्पाद्य पुरुषं भैरवं क्वचित् । प्रज्वलन्तं सुमहसा प्रीत्या च परमेश्वरः
sa kopatassamutpādya puruṣaṃ bhairavaṃ kvacit | prajvalantaṃ sumahasā prītyā ca parameśvaraḥ
随后，至上主自其猛烈忿怒中化生一位存在——怖畏者婆罗婆（Bhairava）——以无量光焰炽然；而大自在天（Parameśvara）心中欢喜，慈然垂顾此一显现。
