The verse highlights śaucā (purity) and maryādā (dharma-bound restraint): even during a sacred bath, Draupadī maintains modesty. In a Shaiva Siddhanta lens, outer discipline supports inner purification, making the mind fit for devotion to Pati (Śiva).
Holy bathing and careful conduct are traditional preparatory acts before approaching Saguna Śiva worship (such as Linga-pūjā). The emphasis is that devotion is not only ritual—right conduct and humility are also offerings.
It suggests preparatory śuddhi through snāna performed with ādarā (reverence). As a practical takeaway, one may bathe, maintain purity and restraint, then proceed to japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” and simple Linga-arcana with a composed mind.
