It teaches that Bhairava (Śiva’s protective, fierce Saguna form) and Bhairavī (Śakti) respond to sincere bhakti by granting appropriate worldly and spiritual fruits, affirming grace (anugraha) through devoted worship.
Bhairava is a Saguna manifestation of Śiva; the verse highlights that approaching Śiva with form—often through Liṅga-pūjā supported by mantra and devotion—yields blessings, with Śakti (Girijā) inseparably participating in the bestowal of results.
Emphasis is on sad-upāsanā (proper worship): regular mantra-japa (e.g., Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), disciplined pūjā, and devotional observances—especially suitable for Bhairava-focused worship on sacred nights like Mahāśivarātri.
