Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: nurturing
The verse highlights the dawning of Śakti’s auspicious presence: Pārvatī’s visible radiance signifies inner purity and divine readiness, a key Shaiva theme where the soul’s grace-filled transformation becomes perceptible as spiritual “splendour.”
Pārvatī’s splendour foreshadows the manifest (saguṇa) mode of the Divine—Śiva and Śakti becoming approachable through form, devotion, and sacred rites. This narrative atmosphere supports temple worship and Liṅga-bhakti as grace-bearing, embodied devotion.
While no specific rite is commanded, the setting with purohita and brāhmaṇas implies śuddhi (purification) and auspicious observance—practically taken as maintaining purity, reciting the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), and offering simple worship with devotion.
