The verse presents Devī Śivā (Pārvatī as Śiva’s Śakti) as possessing a “supreme state” (parā gati). Even exalted deities honor Her, indicating that true auspiciousness and liberation are approached through reverent devotion to the divine Śiva-Śakti principle.
By showing Viṣṇu and other gods bowing after offering praise, the text highlights saguna-upāsanā—devotional worship with attributes—where Śiva is honored together with Śakti. In Śaiva practice, this supports Linga-worship as a concrete focus of devotion that culminates in recognizing the supreme reality praised here.
The practical takeaway is stuti (hymnic praise) joined with praṇāma (full reverential bowing). As a Śaiva discipline, one may pair such praise with japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” and conclude with namaskāra, cultivating humility and devotion oriented toward the supreme gati.
