It honors exemplary women whose steadfast dharma and inner purity are presented as supports for bhakti and spiritual stability—qualities that, in Shaiva understanding, purify the heart and make devotion to Lord Śiva fruitful.
By praising Satī and the ideal of unwavering devotion, the verse points to the same one-pointedness valued in Saguna Śiva worship—steadiness, loyalty, and purity that sustain regular pūjā, vrata, and remembrance of the Liṅga.
The implied practice is niyama-driven devotion: maintaining purity of conduct, keeping vrata-like steadiness, and supporting daily Śiva-smaraṇa—often expressed through japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) alongside simple, consistent pūjā.
