Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
It highlights manasa-bhakti—approaching Śiva inwardly with reverence—showing that sincere inner orientation to Pati (Śiva) brings divine joy and right response among sages and gods.
Though the verse speaks of a mental approach, it supports Saguna worship by affirming that devotion can be internal (manasa) as well as external—mentally entering Śiva’s presence just as one approaches the Liṅga in ritual.
Practice manasa-pūjā: mentally approach Śiva with ādarā (reverence), repeat the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), and visualize offering devotion at Śiva’s presence—optionally supported by bhasma and rudrākṣa as aids.
