It depicts a universe-wide maṅgala (auspiciousness): when divine purpose is fulfilled, joy and “jaya” resound through all realms, reflecting harmony under Śiva’s lordship (Pati) and the uplifting power of devotion.
The verse evokes Saguna Śiva’s grace as tangibly experienced in the world—devotees respond with utsava and victory acclamations, the same spirit seen in temple worship where the Liṅga is honored with celebration, music, and communal devotion.
It suggests cultivating devotional rejoicing (bhakti-utsava): chant “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” perform ārati or kīrtana, and inwardly sustain a steady jaya-bhāva—gratitude and triumph of dharma—during worship.
