“噢,牟尼啊,祭火之坑(kuṇḍa)以十二俱胝之量而设;供品/薪柴之‘山’亦同其广。勇士旃陀罗塔帕那(Candratāpana)率八俱胝随从抵达彼处。”

It highlights the immense scale of sacred preparation—outer grandeur mirroring inner resolve—where disciplined, orderly worship becomes a support for devotion to Lord Shiva (Pati) and the purification of the soul (paśu) from bonds (pāśa).
Though the verse describes yajna logistics, in Shaiva Siddhanta such ritual order is ultimately directed to Saguna Shiva’s grace; offerings and sanctified space become means to concentrate bhakti, leading the worshipper toward Shiva’s higher realization.
Establish a clean, consecrated worship space and perform Shiva worship with measured discipline—e.g., japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) alongside offerings—emphasizing sincerity over mere scale.
