Parvati
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Significance: Smaraṇa (remembrance) is presented as a direct conduit of anugraha; pilgrims are taught that inner recollection can ‘gather’ all merits into a single liberating orientation toward Śiva.
Type: panchakshara
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: liberating
It teaches that even small spiritual effort—when rooted in sincere remembrance—becomes fruitful through Shiva’s anugraha (grace), which gathers and perfects one’s scattered merits.
Remembrance is sustained through Saguna worship—such as Linga-pūjā, mantra-japa, and contemplation of Shiva’s form—by which devotion ripens and grace becomes manifest.
Practice daily smaraṇa via Panchakshara japa (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with mental focus, spoken recitation, and bodily worship (archana/namaskāra), uniting speech, mind, and action in one devotion.
