湿婆对众人皆欢喜,赐福诸圣贤;但,亲爱的啊,祂赐予湿婆妃(帕尔瓦蒂)更多——正是她心中久已渴望之所愿。
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimisharanya)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: liberating
It highlights Śiva’s anugraha (grace): while He blesses all devotees, He responds in a special, intimate way to the deepest, heart-held aspiration born of steadfast devotion—here embodied by Śivā (Pārvatī).
The verse reflects Saguna Śiva’s compassionate accessibility: the personal Lord who is pleased by devotion and grants boons. In Linga-worship too, the devotee approaches Śiva as the gracious Pati who bestows blessings according to bhāva (inner intent).
The takeaway is single-pointed devotion and heartfelt prayer—especially japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with a clear inner intention, offered with purity and perseverance, as Pārvatī’s devotion exemplifies.
