Pārvatī’s Discourse: Establishing Śiva as Parabrahman
यथा तथा भवेद्रुद्रो यथा वा बहुरूपवान् । ममाभीष्टतमो नित्यं निर्विकारी सतां प्रियः
yathā tathā bhavedrudro yathā vā bahurūpavān | mamābhīṣṭatamo nityaṃ nirvikārī satāṃ priyaḥ
无论鲁陀罗如何——如此或那般,乃至现无量形相——祂恒常是我最珍爱的。祂不变(nirvikārī),并永远为贤善与智者所敬爱。

The verse supports Linga-worship as a unifying symbol: even if Shiva is worshiped through varied forms and names, the devotee holds to one changeless Lord. Thus saguna worship (murti/linga) becomes a doorway to realizing Shiva’s formless, unmodified nature.
A practical takeaway is steady japa of the Panchakshara—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—with one-pointed bhakti, contemplating Shiva as bahurūpa in appearance yet nirvikārī in essence.
