Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati

Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: creative
Offering: pushpa
The verse praises Pārvatī as the concentrated embodiment of grace and beauty, pointing to Śakti as the auspicious, devotion-awakening power through which the soul is drawn toward Śiva and elevated toward purity and liberation.
In Śaiva practice, devotion often approaches Śiva through His Saguna manifestations and through Śakti (Pārvatī). This praise supports reverence for the divine form that inspires bhakti, which then matures into steadiness in Linga-worship and contemplation of Śiva as Pati (the Lord).
A practical takeaway is dhyāna on Pārvatī-Śiva as the auspicious couple (Umā-Maheśvara), accompanied by japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” cultivating devotion and inner refinement.
