萨蒂既已舍离旧身,便在心中立定誓愿:“我当成为她的女儿。”于是她专注其意,愿生为喜马梵之女,使与湿婆的神圣结合得以再度圆满,清净而契合正法。
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Shakti Form: Satī
Role: liberating
Cosmic Event: Re-embodiment of Devī after tyāga of the former body—mythic reset enabling restoration of cosmic balance and dharmic union.
It shows Satī’s unwavering śuddha-bhakti and sankalpa: even after leaving the body, her consciousness remains oriented to Śiva, taking a new, dharmic birth as Pārvatī to complete divine purpose and uphold sacred union.
Satī’s resolve is devotion to Saguna Śiva—Śiva as the personal Lord who receives love and worship. In Śaiva practice, such one-pointed devotion supports steady Linga-upāsanā, where the mind is ‘placed’ (dadhre) on Śiva without wavering.
The implied practice is sankalpa with ekāgratā: take a vow to remember Śiva daily, repeat the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), and meditate with a steady mind—optionally with bhasma (tripuṇḍra) and rudrākṣa to support continuity of devotion.
