随后,他以金刚杵击打其右胁,将其击倒。由那一击,化生出一位雄伟大力的男子,名闻为“Śākhanāmā”,具足强盛之力。

Cosmic Event: Miraculous emergence (utpatti) of a powerful being from a thunderbolt strike
The verse uses a dramatic, Puranic image—power manifesting through a decisive divine act—to show that new forces and beings can arise instantly by higher will; in Shaiva understanding, all such emergent powers ultimately operate under Pati (Shiva) as the supreme regulator of creation and dissolution.
Though the verse is narrative, it supports Saguna devotion by portraying divine governance through tangible forms and actions; Linga-worship similarly trains the mind to recognize Shiva’s supreme presence through an accessible, worshipful symbol while acknowledging His transcendence beyond form.
A practical takeaway is to cultivate steadfastness and inner strength through daily japa of the Panchakshara mantra (Om Namah Shivaya) and disciplined worship (puja/abhisheka), seeking Shiva’s grace to transform obstacles into spiritual power.
