तत्सुखार्थं स्वयं शंभुर्गतस्स्वांशेन पर्वते । मल्लिकार्जुननामासीज्ज्योतिर्लिङ्गं सुखावहम्
tatsukhārthaṃ svayaṃ śaṃbhurgatassvāṃśena parvate | mallikārjunanāmāsījjyotirliṅgaṃ sukhāvaham
为成就那位奉献者的吉祥安乐,圣主商婆亲自以自身神力之一分降临山岳,并于彼处化现为名为“摩利迦尔朱那”的光明灵伽(Jyotirliṅga),赐予瑞福之乐。

Significance: Darśana of Mallikārjuna is taught as sukha-prada and bhakti-siddhi; in Siddhānta terms it signifies Śiva’s anugraha that loosens pāśa and turns the paśu toward liberation.

It teaches that Śiva, as Pati (the Lord), compassionately reveals Himself in a worship-accessible form (Jyotirliṅga) to grant devotees auspicious joy and spiritual upliftment, showing divine grace responding to bhakti.
The verse presents the Jyotirliṅga as Śiva’s luminous, saguna manifestation—an embodied focus for devotion through which the nirguna Lord becomes approachable, allowing devotees to receive blessings and inner transformation.
Perform Liṅga-pūjā with steady bhakti—offerings, japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), and contemplative remembrance of Śiva’s light (jyotis) as the indwelling auspicious presence.
