It highlights Śiva’s compassionate, personal (saguṇa) presence: the Supreme Pati is not distant, but responds with grace and joy to dharmic victory, arriving with His śakti (Pārvatī) and divine retinue to bless the devotee and uphold cosmic order.
Though Liṅga worship points to Śiva’s nirguṇa transcendence, this verse emphasizes His saguṇa leelā—Śiva as the accessible Lord who comes, blesses, and participates in the world. Devotees can worship the Liṅga while contemplating this gracious, responsive Lord.
A practical takeaway is to perform Śiva-smaraṇa with the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and offer simple worship (bhasma/tri-puṇḍra, bilva leaves, or a lamp), meditating on Śiva arriving with Pārvatī and the gaṇas to protect and sanctify one’s righteous efforts.
