苏多(Sūta)说道:他在心中如是思量后,那位婆罗门——与诸位二次生者及随从一道——便在彼处沉沉入睡;他对母亲怀着至诚敬爱,心中满是惊叹。

It highlights inner contemplation (hṛdā vicārya) and humility: when the mind is overwhelmed by wonder and devotion, one naturally becomes receptive to grace, a key Shaiva Siddhanta theme where bhakti and clarity prepare the soul for Shiva’s guidance.
Though the verse is narrative, it frames the devotional mood that supports Saguna Shiva worship—approaching sacred places and Shiva’s manifestations with reverence, reflection, and surrender, which are essential attitudes in Jyotirlinga pilgrimage traditions.
A practical takeaway is silent inward reflection before rest—mentally repeating Shiva’s name or the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and offering the day’s actions to Shiva, cultivating devotion and steadiness.
